About Pallas™
PALLAS™ & PALLAS Premium™ by LASEROPTEK are the world’s first and only FDA 510(k)-cleared solid-state 308 / 311nm Ti:Sapphire UVB lasers available in the global dermatology market. LASEROPTEK’s proprietary solid-state laser technology provides effective, targeted laser treatments for patients with complex inflammatory skin conditions, including vitiligo, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and leukoderma.
Targeted PALLAS™ Laser Therapy delivers precise, monochromatic, collimated, and coherent UVB (308 or 311nm – Users’ choice & factory set) laser light directly to affected skin, minimizing UVB exposure to healthy tissue. Unlike broadband UV light therapies which are non-collimated and non-coherent, PALLAS™ lasers precisely target affected areas, minimizing unnecessary UV exposure of healthy skin.
PALLAS™ lasers are available either with a 308nm or 311nm wavelength, which is selected at the time of purchase or rental. The 311nm option is often preferred because 311nm lies lower on the erythema curve, with many users reporting less skin redness immediately after and 24 hours following treatment.
Flexible Options: PALLAS™ lasers are available for either purchase or a 36-month rental program. Purchasing provides a long-term return on investment, while the rental option offers a low, fixed monthly cost that includes preventive maintenance and warranty services. This predictable cost structure enables lower average treatment costs based on volume, making it profitable to treat patients suffering from a wide range of inflammatory skin conditions.

“We believe the 311nm wavelength can penetrate deeper and more safely so there’s less discomfort and risk of side-effects for patients. We’ve seen very good clearance, even with difficult, unresponsive lesions previously treated with 308nm excimer laser. We’ve easily switched our patients over to the PALLAS™ Laser. Being a solid-state laser with no consumables, or break downs makes it a very appealing and cost-effective option for a busy dermatology practice.”
